THE REEF RUNWAY - A dumping ground on the shores of Honolulu !?

There is a much-needed proposal to dredge  up years of toxic sludge clogging the Ala Wai Canal in Waikiki, but the DLNR would like to use the waste as additional  landfill at the Honolulu International Airport's Reef Runway  where it is sure to run-off into the surrounding ocean.   This is a situation that definitely needs some attention!
